They will need to be approved at our 2014 Spring Business Meeting (to be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 12pm-1pm at the ARLIS/NA Conference in Washington D.C.)
Come learn how information professionals working in the private sphere work with art and art resources!
The tour will begin at 11am and will take an hour + with questions at the end. Coffee and light snacks will be provided.
Besides enjoying a great chat with Ben Lee, we will have the pleasure of viewing the Taryn Simon exhibition in the gallery before it closes on Saturday.

The Southern California Chapter of ARLIS/NA is currently inviting applicants for its annual Student and Judith A. Hoffberg Travel Awards. This year $400 will be awarded to each recipient to support and encourage involvement in ARLIS/NA activities by helping to defray the costs of attending the 2014 ARLIS/NA 42nd Conference in Washington D.C.
Letters of application are due by March 20, 2014 and the winners will be notified by March 30, 2014. For more information on eligibility and how to apply visit the Travel Awards page.
Friday, December 13th – 11:00am – 2:00pm
We will have a tour of the campus from 11-12pm, break for lunch in the cafe from 12-1pm and finally a tour of the library with questions from 1-2pm.
Please RSVP by December 6th!
Parking is available inside the campus with free valet if you have trouble finding a spot (this is for real!)
Prices at the cafe are $6-8 for an entree and veggie options and a salad bar are available but feel free to bring your own food!
Additionally, if anyone is interested, the Irvine Spectrum is very close by with restaurants and lots of places to do holiday shopping if you would like to stay in the area. Javiar’s Cantina is a good place to get margaritas and food.

• Guided Walking Tour of UCI Campus + Architecture 4:15 – 5:00pm
• Food and Drinks at Steel Head Brewing Company (After walking tour)
